ADULTERY EXPLOSION

The rate at which men and women commit adultery is alarming! Married people are throwing caution to the wind and getting involved in all manner of sexual orgies imaginable.


The advent of facebook, whatsapp and other social media is making sex easier and cheap. Just yesterday, I heard the story of a married woman who got involved in online porn and went hay wire. She met some unscrupulous elements on facebook and began jumping from bed to bed and men to men. Her marriage has long been dumped in the dustbin.

It's very easy to commit adultery. Most people don't know this. They get over confident at handling some tough situations and get bewildered they slept with some one else's husband or wife. It's easy to be attracted to the opposite sex. Just keep looking at them, keep talking about personal issues and keep giving them special attention -that's all.

Money makes adultery easier and super fast. A man doesn't just part with his money. When a man gives to you constantly, he is drawn to you, fond of you and wanna have you. When a woman constantly collects money from a particular man, she gets fond of him and wants to reciprocate in kind, I mean do anything to make him happy. This is where some people land into trouble.

Guard your marriage with your life and be humble enough to acknowledge your fallibility. 

Husbands and wives should be VERY OPEN to each other. One big reason my husband trusts me with his life is he knows I'm completely opened. I tell him the temptations I'm facing and he helps me. I aint a super woman and will never claim to be. When a particular man gets me emotionally worked up, I tell my husband and he advises me on what to do. If he is uncomfortable around any woman he tells me fast and we work around it, it's as simple as that. Marrying as the holiest virgin in the world won't take temptation away from your face especially when you are a public figure and a leader. That is the cold, hard truth!

Learn to face reality. The late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya once said " as a married woman, if a guy smiles at me, I'm not going to smile back." You can call her any name you like. It is the self discipline that helped her marry as a virgin and enjoy a blissful marriage till she died.

There is no short cut to overcoming adultery. Couples should learn to be disciplined. Stop blaming your poor wife on your attitude. Woman, honour your marriage. Stop sharing your heart with all men. You will connect with them.

Pray all the time and clean your mind through the word. Take delight in each other and give quality attention to each other. 

Men should learn to get all the sex they need at home and women should always look up to God and their husbands for love. It's wrong to get this from somewhere else. Keep staying positive. The good Lord will help you.
