TWO IN ONE

Yeah! Marriage is a two in one concept. When a man and a woman come to live together as husband and wife, it’s got to be a one in one arrangement for such a marriage to work.

A wise man I respect so much years ago said that ONE + ONE (anywhere in the world) = TWO. However ONE IN ONE = ONE. Marriage is a mystery which only the Creator God can unravel. Marriage is a connection made with the intention of creating an entirely new person from two individuals in such a way that the two of them now behave as one. Consciously or unconsciously that intention towards becoming ONE must always be there for any marriage to enjoy bliss.

Marriage from this point of view is the pouring out of one Soul into another (the man’s soul into the woman’s and vice versa) with the sole intention of making them function as ONE indivisible entity. Yeah! The man and his wife must be ready to leave whatever or whoever they have been before now so they can now be fused into a NEW being having the summary of the characteristics of the two of them. 

That is why in marriage YOU CAN’T BE YOURSELF , you can’t live your life the way you like any longer with no consideration to the way your spouse feels without negative consequences. Your life is no longer for you alone again. Your life is now both for you and your spouse. If you are married BE VERY MINDFUL of that because it is the oil that helps your marriage to run smoothly.

Sorry Mr. Man you can no longer be the macho man that you were before marriage, your life is now the combination of both yours and hers – thinking otherwise will be a mistake. Sweet Lady you can no longer be that lady that you were before now – your life is now has a DUAL component.

Change and continuous learning is the Language that must be embraced by you if you must experience the joy of being happily married. If you are not ready to change the way you are right now I will candidly advice you NEVER to marry. This is because Marriage is for people who are ready to Change, learn and keep growing together.

You must know that you are no longer One, you are now a two in one being. When people meet either of you they actually meet the two of you. When people shake one of you they actually shake the two of you. Even if your husband / wife is at home and you are out for a social event, the reality is the two of you are both out there and inside – One can no longer exist without the other. The Success, failure, joy, pain, achievement, setback, of One is actually that of the two of you. 

In conclusion, this doesn’t weaken your strength and vigour as a man it only makes you a superman. Also it doesn’t erase you Charm and grace as a lady, it only puts it on the increase. Remember, the two of you are better when you function as one inseparable entity.
