Honest, rejection is painful to say the least. People can reject you for many reasons. It can be for physical, mental, intellectual, spiritual, social or financial reasons, whatever the reason, it is not fun.
Anybody can reject you. It can be your boss, staff, clients, family, friends, colleagues, mentors, protegees, the rich, the poor, the intellectuals, the elites and people you really care about. Top on the list is a loved one, partner, spouse or best friend. The impact can be devastating!
People who make you feel bad are not worth a second of your time.They have serious issues which they expect you to fix and wouldn't mind destroying your self esteem in the process.
They have very low self esteem, so they compare you with others and make you feel bad so they can feel good. They are people who blow out other people's light for theirs to shine.
They are proud, haughty, arrogant, pompous, boastful, belligerent, sassy, rude, obstinate, obnoxious, nauseating and highly irritating -they are toxic people.
You don't need these people in your life. Place a high value on yourself. Stop expecting everybody to like you. We all have tastes and you can't fit into everybody's life. When you are rejected,it doesn't mean something is wrong with you, it plain means both or all of you don't belong together, full stop.
There are so many people out there who are dying to meet somebody exactly like you. Open your door to them. Go where you are celebrated not where you are tolerated. It doesn't matter who you are or what your background is, value yourself. Respect yourself. Take good care of yourself. Learn to look and smell good. Set goals and achieve them, aim higher and always shoot for the stars. Make friends with people who respect and value you. You will save yourself many years of heartache and pains. You are worth much more than you think.
