TO USE OR NOT TO USE MAKEUP

No woman is ugly. Every woman wants to be beautiful and look attractive but how we package ourselves determines how attractive we will look.
The issue of makeup is a controversial one. If your religious beliefs do not permit it, you can still look as attractive as possible.

Being beautiful and pretty is not a sin. God is a beautiful God. If he allows us to catch a glimpse of heaven once we will pity ourselves for living far below heaven's standard in terms of physical appearance.

Some women are NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL. They do not need make up but some women are not so naturally endowed. They need to accentuate their facial appearance. For instance, Gloria Bamiloye of Mount Zion Films is a naturally beautiful woman, she needs no make up to help her look more beautiful. Most of the wives of the founders of certain churches where they do not believe in using make up are NATURALLY beautiful and do not need makeup but for some women who are not so endowed, they need extra work.

Wisdom is very much needed in this area. In case you do not believe in makeup kits, you can try natural means of making yourself more presentable. Wash your face regularly if you are averse to beauty facial cleanser. Trim your eye brow, shave off the excess hair and smoothen your brows with your finger or eyebrow brush. Try making your lips succulent and soft. Cracked and dried lips is not attractive at all. You can use lip gloss sparingly and if you are not comfortable with it, try Rubb or Mentholatum. Brush your teeth twice daily for fresh breath and try mints later in the day if you perceive mouth odour.

There is no excuse for looking shabby in the kingdom of God, we should always package ourselves for excellence. It's not expensive to look good Just maximize the little you have.

God bless.
