With the rate at which Pastors and their wives are filing for divorce, I think we need to do something fast or else, the church may soon be filled with divorced Pastors and congregations. If the Pastor can get a divorce, why can't the members?

Obedience is not automatic, it is learnt. We learn with a humble heart and mostly through suffering. Yes, people don't change until they hurt enough! Even Jesus had to LEARN obedience through suffering so there is no accidental obedience. If you have not been obeying your husband, you've shown your human side but not without consequences.

WHY DO YOU HATE YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW?

There is no perfect mother-in-law. Like your parents, she's got her strengths and weaknesses and she needs the same amount of love and forgiveness you show your parents.

1. SHE PICKED THE RIGHT MAN: This singular achievement is the bedrock of Omotola's huge success. If she had focused on good looks alone, she wouldn't have married that God ordained partner God sent her way. She is always grateful to God she married him and had confessed countless times that no man could ever love her the way her husband does because she is not easy to live with. She is not a bad woman, she rather has a strong personality and only her husband could manage her.

2. SHE HONOURS GOD: She is a woman who values the word of God and prayer. Ask her consistently what the secret of her success is and she will tell you it's God.

3. SHE MARRIED AS A VIRGIN: Some people say that was possible because she married at 18, maybe. There are 9 and 10 year old girls who are not virgins anymore. Omotola was disciplined sexually before she met her husband. It's not easy keeping one's virginity at that age with beauty, hunger and as a struggling model.

4. SHE RESPECTS HER HUSBAND: She does not believe in the gender equality most celebrities are fighting for and sees her husband as the head of the home. She doesn't dictate for him or call the shots because she is famous and highly recognized around the world. Omotola is a humble woman who allows her husband be the man while she comfortably settled in her role as a wife. The first time I saw her at WINNERS, CANAANLAND beside her husband, I was impressed. She walked meekly beside him while the man cleared the way for her and led her to their jeep. She sat silently in the vehicle while waiting patiently for the return of her husband who had quickly gone somewhere to do something. There was no air about her at all. She was simply dressed in a red native attire like her husband and wore a sunshade.

5. SHE IS DISCIPLINED: Hence being so successful. Omotola is a disciplined woman who is very principled. She believes in giving her best to her marriage, children, career and business. She doesn't go every where partying her life away and she doesn't make friends with every Tom, Dick and Harry.

6. SHE IS HARDWORKING hence her versatility. She didn't use her husband's well paying job as a pilot as an excuse to be lazy and dependent. She puts in her best in her career and diversify into other flourishing businesses. She studies the market and knows how to maximize opportunities to her advantage.

7. SHE IS A DEDICATED MOTHER: She is committed to her children and always put them first before making some decisions. she disciplines them as appropriate and is a good role model to them.

8.SHE IS CONFIDENT: A lot of people mis- interpreted this as pride. It takes lots of confidence to attract and maintain success.

9. SHE IS A PHILANTROPIST: she takes care of the widows, orphans and the less privileged.

10. SHE IS AN ACTIVIST: She believes in societal reforms. She campaigned for BRING BACK OUR GIRLS among many others.

11. SHE MAINTAINS HER BEAUTY: Some say it's because she s young, may be. It takes discipline to look good after giving birth to 4 children. There are 20 something years old mothers who look like grannies and old maids. Omotola takes good care of her body and consistently ensures she brings pride to her husband.

Hmmm....isn't that enough reason she seems so "lucky"? If we can all learn to put God first, be disciplined and make our marriages our first priority after God, our lives will be much more better and we will record more success, bliss and fulfilment in our homes.

There is no magical answer. It takes God and daily obedience to His word.

We live in a Godless, sinful, 'sodomic' generation that ignores God and hope to to enjoy His gift without receiving any instruction from Him.

Marriage is God's gift to mankind. He created it and He has a reason for it. If you therefore want to enjoy His gift, you have to follow His instruction to the letter.

So many single guys are still hell bent on having sex before marriage and they keep wandering why they can't find a good wife to marry. A lot of ladies now publicly declare their love for fornication while running from pillar to post, attending all manner of deliverance programmes since they can't find a good man to marry.

Husbands are ignoring God to love and cherish their wives. They beat them blue black at slight provocations while wives are becoming arrogant, cocky, domineering, proud, bossy and controlling.

Any wonder marriages are crashing at an alarming rate! You can't succeed in marriage without God.

You can't choose to DISOBEY God and enjoy a blissful marriage. You can't eat your cake and have it. It's high time you turned a new leaf if you want to find the right partner and enjoy bliss unlimited in your marriage. Give your heart to God and let Him beautify you with His word. He will give you the power to develop sound, godly character and turn your marriage into heaven on earth.
